Mother Nature’s playing mind games with us again. After a day of endless rains (and wet basements) we awake to more fluffy white stuff drifting down from the sky. That’s fine. I don’t care. I’ve got a lovely cup of Phil&Sebastian Fazenda Monte Alegre in my hand and caffeine coursing through my veins and I’m ready to face whatever you’ve got. C’mon, Mother Nature. Let’s do this!

The view outside my window: a perfectly frosted vanilla cake, dusted with icing sugar and decorated with licorice sticks. The odd set of animal tracks kind of kills the analogy, though.

It’s a marshmallow world in the winter
When the snow comes to cover the ground
It’s the time for play, it’s a whipped cream day
I wait for it the whole year round.
