<p>Tall Poppy Cafe 2012<br />
Inspired by the scenes that surround her, Alison transforms her inspiration into vibrant and colourful representations that blend paint, texture and her own uniquely recognizable style. In her latest body of work, Alison captures the beauty of Prince Edward County that influenced her to explore these dynamic floral and landscape pieces.<br />
Using a palette knife to combine heavy textures of colour with soft brushwork, Alison creates simple, but stunning renditions of her natural inspirations through the use of layering and bold imagery. Poppies are an ongoing obsession; wild, showy, simple, and uniquely beautiful. Using groupings of odd numbers and asymmetrical arrangements, each poppy piece is unique; thick petals juxtaposed against the brushed look of a soft cloudy background that embodies Alison’s view of her natural surroundings.<br />
A full-time artist for over 5 years, Alison’s unique work has been sold throughout galleries in Ottawa and Montreal, and to a clients across North America through her own studio and solo exhibitions. Alison&#8217;s frequent visits to Prince Edward County have guided her palette to bring you this latest body of work that embraces her talents as an artist and her perspective of a landscape that surrounds us and continues to inspire her artistic pursuits.</p>

<p>We are open daily 7am-3pm throughout the Easter weekend, come by for breakfast, lunch, dessert or lattes! Enid will be baking Easter bread, hot cross buns and many more delicious treats!!!</p>
<p>For mother&#8217;s day, we have a brunch menu that will be featured through out the day,  menu will be posted soon.  Call for reservations!!!</p>
<p>Other TPC news, is we will be starting dinners at the beginning of June, featuring a prix fixe menu to kick them off and then contining on with the blackboard menu. We are also going to be getting some beer taps, so you can come in a cool off and relax in the summer!</p>
